We are moving!
Short story: I am consolidating my two blogs into one, effective January 2025.
The Finish With A Sprint blog will become a part of my Can I Borrow Your Car blog and will be moving to Substack for a number of reasons.
One, while I can write two different blog titles per week, it is a pretty big lift to write them on two different subjects and with two different audiences.
Two, organic reach and distribution on this platform and almost all others have gone the way of the dinosaurs…extinct. It is pay-to-play, and you don’t have a direct relationship with your clients as the content creator.
Three, Substack is something I have been familiar with for a year, as it is where my flyfishing personal blog (Guidewaters) has been hosted. I like the platform and it makes sense to me.
Four, we are going to add a paid option to the newsletter. We will still have one free post per week for everyone to enjoy (hopefully). We will be adding another post per week that will dive deeper into how to grow a business by referral and how to run it better. Additionally, there will be several live events and other cool stuff.
The free article will still be shared on other platforms, but I hope you will at least subscribe for free so we can have a deeper relationship over at Substack. One of the reasons I love it is that it is in a newsletter format but allows for comments from everyone, just like this platform.
